Abstract
WAMS will play a vital role in the monitoring, analysis, modeling and control of interconnected power system. However, the impact of time delays introduced by WAMS can´t be ignored. A novel framework called CTCR is introduced to analyze the stability of a power system considering the feedback transmission delays. The complete stability picture of a SMIB system is obtained through the CTCR method in time delay space. The validity of this method is verified by time domain simulation results.
