Abstract :
This panel summary describes a technique for including distributed resources (DR) in the distribution planning process. It captures the incremental capacity provided by DR in a way that is meaningful for assessing the impact of the DR on the reliability and efficiency of the distribution system. Computational methods for executing this technique are discussed.
