  • Abstract
LIM track transportation lowers the construction price, increases stability as well as improves curve passing. It belongs to green transportation. So it´s greatly demanded to satisfying the medium carrying capacity in cities. But the related research hasn´t yet done in China. The paper introduces the characteristics of LIM track transportation, setups coupled dynamic model between vehicle and track combining the structural special features of vehicle and truck for LIM track transportation. A large amount of simulation calculations about the dynamic response of the coupled system are done. The model´s accuracy is verified by comparing the results with ADAMS/Rail. In addition, calculations through traditional method such as particle means and driving dynamics for line design parameters are also done as check. Transition curve´s calculation is presented as an example in the paper. Other line design parameters are abridged owing to the paper space. The paper presents the recommendation values of line design parameters for Guangzhou track transportation No.4 project by the corresponding simulation calculation. It establishes the theory foundation for future LIM track transportation buildings in China
