Abstract :
This paper describes the performance of a helix TWT recently developed at CPI-MPP for instrumentation applications. This tube was specifically designed for EMI/EMC instrumentation amplifier applications. EMI/EMC instrumentation amplifier applications require a high power TWT. The high power is required to ensure that a minimum field level (varies depending on the application) is actually getting through the "skin" of the device under test and to the electronics.
