            Abstract : 
In this paper, the authors proposed a bias control linearized traveling wave tube (BCLTWT) to improve the linearity of the MPM. By varying the solid state device´s bias quiescent point, it was observed that the 3rd inter- modulation distortion (IMD) products were improved without any external linearity circuits. The controlled bias point of the SSA is confirmed to the improvement of the linearity in the MPM. Experimental results are compared with the conventional TWT and MPM.
