Abstract
The impact over system performances of narrowband spectral shaping for time-frequency packed faster than Nyquist Tb/s superchannels is evaluated. Comparison between optical and electrical filtering under the presence of partially overlapping neighbor channels is presented and optimal values for filter bandwidth are determined for different filter profiles.
