Abstract :
The aim of this contribution is to obtain analytically the localization length for an array of periodic on average dielectric bi-layers of finite sizes, distributed according to correlated disorder potentials. To this end the widely used transfer-matrix approach generalizing it to random, arbitrarily correlated, systems is employed.
