Abstract
In order to investigate of millimeter wavelength radiation property of terrain and manmade objects brightness temperature measurements of specially prepared sites with some natural land covers and artificial coverings have been executed. In this method, using atmospheric spectral features has great potential of to increase of informative facility for passive remote sensing of terrestrial surface in millimeter wavelength range. Especially this tool is useful for sounding such complicated medium as snow cover.
