            Abstract : 
A new approach to formation and registration of polarization hologram on periodic layer structures is presented. A structure with alternate photosensitive layers, containing bacteriorodopsin, and transparent isotropic layers is considered. Such structure corresponds to an uniaxial quasicrystal with form birefringence. In the quasicrystal registration of polarization hologram is ensured by ordinary and extraordinary waves, having orthogonal polarizations.
