Abstract :
Based on the local similarity in images and the relationship between local similarity and affine transformation, we propose a new method of fractal image coding by using neighboring boxes to reduce the searching scope efficiently. The technology of quad tree subdividing and brightness distribution matching are also utilized to save the encoding time. Final experiments show that the high quality coding images can be achieved.
