Abstract :
In this paper, case-based reasoning is introduced to product data management, and the architecture of an integrated product development environment is put forward. By developing the interface between them, the case-based design system based on PDM platform is established. According to the characteristics of the product properties, a new case-retrieving algorithm is presented. Finally, an integrated product development environment based on SmarTeam platform is constructed using VC++6.0 and an example is illustrated.
