Abstract
Carrier phase-shifting sinusoidal pulse with modulation (SPWM) is one kind of commonly used algorithm for cascaded multilevel converter. The method of realization carrier phase-shifting PWM adopting complex programmable logical device (CPLD) is proposed in detail in this paper. This method simplifies the circuit design, enhances the system reliability and might guarantee the synchronicity of triggering power switches. At the end, the experimental results are given.
