  • Abstract
    In order to adapt to the future development trend of automotive electrical control systems, a novel electrical control pneumatic clutch manipulating system is presented in this paper. The nonlinear characteristic of this system is analyzed and obtained theoretically. With the purpose of dealing with its nonlinear control problem, a new fuzzy immune PSD(Proportional, Summation, Derivative) control algorithm is proposed, which combines the fuzzy immune PID(Proportional, Integral, differential) control algorithm and the adaptive PSD control law. A real truck control system, with the application of this new control algorithm, is constructed and tested. Experimental results testify that this system with the fuzzy immune PSD control algorithm can bring a good control performance to heavy trucks.
