Abstract :
An EEG spike wave detection method based on qualitative modeling of visual observation is proposed in this paper. The method, based on qualitative measurement of sharpness degree of waves at spike wave frequencies, constructs a qualitative description model of visual observation to discriminate spike waves from none spike waves. The application of this method is illustrated with an example. And the corresponding result shows that this method is effective and direct to a certain extent.
