Abstract :
Abstract-This paper presents a position sensorless control system based on sliding mode observer (SMO) for low speed and high torque gearless drive system. By studying the theory of sliding mode, an adaptive sliding mode observer is introduced in this system. Compared to other methods, the observer is more robust to parameter uncertainties. The simulation results of the system are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach.
