  • Abstract
    This paper deals with skew and overhang effects of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). The detent force and thrust characteristics considering skew and overhang effects of permanent magnet are analyzed by 3D finite element method and the results are compared with experimental values.
