Abstract
The harmonic currents of PWM power converter will cause additional losses of high speed motor. The repression approaches of harmonic currents are investigated in this paper. Two effective methods of harmonic current repression for high speed motor power supply are introduced based on the comparison among several methods. The assembling compound filter can repress effectively the harmonic current components within a wide frequency band without weakening too much the fundamental current component. The harmonic voltage components can also be repressed by the filter. The validities of the proposed methods have been verified by the simulation results.
