Abstract :
This paper describes a robust Lyapunov based speed tracking controller for three-phase Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) considering different control strategies corresponding to this motor. The proposed controller is designed on the basis of input-output feedback linearization and Recursive Least Square (RLS) estimation technique. The RLS estimator online detects the motor parameters including the motor iron loss resistance. In this control scheme, the torque reference signal is predicted by a conventional speed PI controller. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control approach is tested by computer simulation. Simulation results obtained, show that the errors in the estimated parameters asymptotically converge to zero and as a result the drive system is indirectly adaptive subject to motor parameter uncertainties and variations.
