Abstract
This paper presents results of magnetic characteristic analysis of a three-phase generator utilizing grain- oriented silicon steel sheets. In the analysis, the finite element method taking account of the two-dimensional magnetic properties is used to make clear rotational iron loss distributions. In this paper, the knowledge obtained in the numerical simulations by means of an integration-type dynamic E&S modeling is reported.
