Abstract :
This paper established a model for three- dimensional finite element analysis of the electric fields in high- voltage coil of transformer according to its insulation characteristics. Based on the model, the electric field is calculated by ANSYS. The distributions of electric field in some insulations are shown, and several top maximum electric intensity values and their positions are given. Some important conclusions have been obtained by discussing the computational results.
