Abstract :
An analysis of multiple-frequency IGBT high frequency induction heating inverter is presented. By comparing the work status in different frequency ratio, it finds the best way of power regulation that is to keep the circuit working in the discontinuous mode. After specific analysis of this mode, the relationship between DC and AC load equivalent resistance and the circuit parameters selection strategy are concluded. At last, a prototype is designed and experimental results verify the correctness of the proposed analysis and parameters selection strategy.
