  • Abstract
The electromagnetic performance of flux-switching and interior PM machines is comparatively studied in this paper. The differences between these two types of PM machines are highlighted and their maximum torque and flux-weakening capabilities are compared analytically and by the finite element method, with due account for different split ratios.
