Abstract
The disk brushless doubly-fed machine (DBDFM) is the most effective type of electrical machine suitable for driving windmill or water pump to perform speed-adjusting and energy-saving operation. Therefore, it has further application prospects. In this paper, the investigation of appropriate pole number combination for disk brushless doubly-fed machine has been made. The simulation of the DBDFM has larger pole number power unit and less pole number control unit is finished, and also the reverse condition. Moreover, the results and comparison analysis of the two conditions are given in this paper.
