Abstract :
A fault description is used to find out fault causes in the line maintenance .A fault description usually results in several fault causes with fault isolation methods .The manufacturer´s maintenance method is that fault isolation methods are tried one by one unless the fault description disappears .It prolongs the maintenance time and descends the maintenance efficiency .A grey clustering algorithms is set up based on the grey relation and the clustering theory .The algorithms uses the experiential data of maintenance to partition the fault causes with fault isolation methods into different clusters and to optimize sequence of the clusters. The maintenance men operate in the sequence so as to shorten the maintenance time and improve the efficiency.
