Abstract
This paper proposes a novel approach is that an application of the high technological advance in the field of communication and computation allows a new form of machine interconnectivity- wireless machine to machine (M2M) technology in railway network. The technologies for M2M solutions are also analyzed. This paper is mainly concerned with automatic protection of unman level crossing and tracking of opposite train in the railway network. We also propose a preventive algorithm in stated areas especially in unman level crossing. The provided generic software framework in unman level crossing allows systems to function effective and efficiently. Main scope of this paper is that an alarm signal is directly given to both control centre and train itself. The alert has been given by means of both light and audio medium.
