Abstract
Performance of the information retrieval systems may be enhanced by data fusion, which combines more number of sources. Adaptive selection of the best function, good schemes with appropriate weights for the fusion is discussed in this paper. Tabu search is employed for this purpose. The experiments are conducted over three benchmark test collections.
