Abstract :
A new compact electronics for fast consecutive signals on one wire has been design for the TACQUILA system. The card is based on fast LVDS cross point switches, level adapters and flip flops. The minimum timing distance between two pulses is about 7 ns with a single pulse width of 2 ns. The timing resolution between two hits on one channel is the same as of two separate channels (sigmat<10 ps). For time over threshold measurements, the minimum pulse length is of about Ins. An outstanding linearity for double-hit and time over threshold measurements is obtained over a large time scale and is in principal not limited.
