Abstract
Neutron imaging techniques are powerful tools that can be applied to a wide array of problems, like imaging of fuel cells, residual stress analysis and detection of flaws in materials. These modern applications are increasingly demanding of high performing imaging devices. Coded Source Imaging (CSI) is a method that consists of a source composed of a pattern of many point-like sources. A phase contrast neutron imaging system is under construction at the Nuclear Reactor Laboratory at MIT. In this paper we present an overview of CSI and a progress report on the experimental setup.
