Abstract :
In this paper, a lossy approach by modifying a lossless embedding scheme is presented. The lossy approach provided a greater flexibility in embedding large images. At the same time, we kept the simplicity of the modified scheme in both programming development and computational requirement. From the experimental result, we could see this simple and novel scheme achieved high performance in hiding important images without noticeable distortion to the extracted image.
