  • Abstract
    The paper describes a broad-band patch antenna with a measured impedance bandwidth ratio of 2.58:1 (VSWR les 2) and dimensions of 0.23 lambda (length) x 0.23 lambda (width) x 0.091 lambda (height) at the lowest frequency. Its broadband characteristics are achieved by folding it and introducing shorts and slots. A prototype has been manufactured and investigated experimentally with good agreement with simulated results.
