Abstract
In this article, an antenna matching the Ultra Wideband (UWB) requirements in the European UWB frequency band is presented. The proposed antenna has the advantage of being planar, having small dimensions and presenting low impulse distortion. The analysis of the proposed structure has been conducted both in the time domain and in the frequency domain, in order to determine the antenna behaviour and properties in both the domains.
