Abstract :
Simulation work on adaptive millimetre-wave radio communication systems requires the generation of synthetic time-series. Also important is adequately reproducing the spatial features of rain fields, i.e., space-time modelling. The goal of this work is to develop a new model for assessing and characterizing rain field dynamics based exclusively on the analysis of weather radar images without any a-priori assumption on the rain cell structure.
