Abstract :
This paper investigates novel class of E-plane metawaveguide bandpass filter structures with improved stopband performance. It aims to show that this type of filter can be easily realized with a single metalo-dielectric insert within rectangular waveguide. The simulated results for air-filled metal pipe half-wavelength rectangular waveguide resonator structure using S-shaped SRR at 9.45 GHz are presented.
