Abstract :
This paper is discussing the excitation modelling of Carbon Nano Tube (CNT) dipole antennas. Like in a standard, perfectly conducting (PEC) dipole case, the well-known delta gap model is easy to use, but not accurate enough. Alternatively, a magnetic frill current model is proposed herein. The advantages of the frill model, over the delta gap are highlighted.
