Abstract :
The high-resolution ESPRIT algorithm is applied to the problem of estimating Loran-C signal parameters. In particular, we are interested in measuring the delay of interfering Loran-C skywave components. The performance of this technique is evaluated and compared with the Fourier- based method. The simulation results show that the ESPRIT algorithm yields good estimation accuracy and that it can also operate successfully with noisy signals.
