  • Abstract
    Since the 1970s, Astrium Space Transportation (ST) has developed competences in composite materials, which are key elements in various parts of its main activities concerning space applications (mainly launchers, ballistic missiles and orbital structures). Taking advantage of the synergy of technologies and industrial processes with these activities, Astrium ST also designs, develops, manufactures and tests antenna reflectors for satellites. It is the lead centre of competence for composite materials inside EADS Astrium.
