Abstract :
This paper discusses on the choice of surface integral equation formulations in electromagnetic scattering and radiation problems. The accuracy of the solution and convergence of iterative (Krylov subspace) methods are investigated. It is shown that the solution accuracy and iteration convergence are almost opposite properties. Reasons and remedies to this phenomenon are discussed.
