Abstract :
The application of genetic algorithm (GA) to the optimization of efficiency and gain of magnetized ferrite microstrip antenna are reported. The fitness function is developed using cavity method for the analysis of microstrip antenna and the genetic algorithm code was developed using C++ language. The results are verified by comparison with the results obtained using GA optimizer of MATLAB.
