Abstract :
Despite papers extending the emulating capabilities of reverberation chambers to Rician-fading environments, these chambers are typically limited to isotropic NLOS scattering. The goal of this paper is to demonstrate that with a proper set-up the reverberation chamber is able to emulate a real propagating Rayleigh-fading environment. By being able of controlling the power received, number of scatters (NS), angular spread (AS) and angle of arrival (AoA), emulation of real- propagating environments with both isotropic and non-isotropic scattering are achieved despite a low k-factor. Some other measured parameters including envelope correlation, diversity gain and MIMO capacity was presented.
