Abstract :
In this paper an implementation of MNM (Multiport Network Model) on a complex radiating structure based on canonically shaped elements is presented. The segmentation method is used to approximate the shape of a collinear microstrip patch antenna (CoMPA) excited by mode TM05. The MNM results have been compared with the method of moment based IE3D results as well as with the measurement. In order to implement the calculation as fast as possible a sensitivity analysis of the number of modes involved in the summation in the Z-matrix calculation has been performed.
