  • Abstract
    Globalization has resulted in increased employment opportunities. With urbanization, the employment rate is further increased for both men and women. In effect, the complex and long working hours result in the compromise of the quality of child care among the employees. This is an understated, yet an increasing psychological concern in the minds of many employees. This paper describes the application of mobile communication to perform on- demand remote monitoring of the child, using most of the existing resources. The proposed telecommunication system provide a feature that helps warn parents by remote alarm, at critical health situations of the child, thus constituting to a basic child care. This system addresses the psychological concerns in employees and therefore helps improve their satisfaction and productivity at work.
