Abstract
This paper provides a brief overview of methods used to simulate sea clutter. It then offers a simple and flexible way of generating coherent sea clutter that matches the statistics of real clutter in the time domain, as well as the shape and intensity distribution within the Doppler domain. Results confirm that the signal intensity can also be K distributed.
