Abstract
We propose a new handover scheme for solving long latency time and triangle routing problems of MIP (mobile IP). The proposed scheme supports L3 mobility using the L2 information of terminal and data tunneling between edge routers. In these characteristics, it has the lower latency time of handover procedure and the lower transmission delay of data packet, than MIP.
