  • Abstract
In frequency selective channels, multipath fading leads to a reduced system performance. We proposed a joint processing method of angle diversity receiving and temporal equalization. The receiver antenna array is connected with multiple array processors to separately extract the desired paths and then combine the resolved paths coherently. Finally the combined signals are inputted into a temporal equalizer to suppress ISI further. Moreover we discussed the determination of the combining coefficients and conducted an analysis of the output SINR. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme can provide angle diversity gain and suppress ISI effectively.
