Abstract :
A new protection stabilisation system against transformer inrush currents is proposed in the paper. The system makes use of two criteria: correlation coefficients from current waveshape analysis and equivalent instantaneous inductance estimate, combined in a reliable unit by means of fuzzy logic. The scheme performance is verified with the signals obtained from EMTP-ATP simulation.
