Abstract :
This paper presents design and construction of an impulse current measuring system used in residual voltage tests for surge arresters. The measuring system is composed of a Rogowski´s coil and an RC integrator with a compensation circuit. The simulation and experimental results show that the system gives better performances compared with the conventional method.
