Abstract
We present experimental results on multi-wavelength conversion of one-to-six 10 Gb/s NRZ signals (10 Gigabit Ethernet, 10 GE) and one-to two 40 GHz RZ signals using a hybrid integrated SOA-MZI. The newly generated 10 GE signals were transmitted over 55 km of nonzero dispersion shifted fibre and the transmission quality tested by Ethernet bit error ratio tester.
