Firecomms present the status of IPTV distribution over plastic optical fibre (POF) within home networks and its challenges for the next few years, while attendees will learn about Firecommspsila OptoLocktrade plugless transceiver technology, enabling the installation of a fibre link within the home to be as simple as wiring up a set of audio speakers while simultaneously providing a quality-of-service link at data rates up to 250 Mbps.
