Abstract
RFID and IEEE 802.15.1(Bluetooth) technology are used the same 2.45 GHz Industrial Scientific and Medical (ISM) frequency band. This paper analyzes about interference effect from bluetooth to performance of RFID system at 2.45 GHz. From our study, it indicates that IEEE 802.15.1 interference can cause a significant increase in the bit error rate (BER) and the radio propagation loss of RFID system due to bluetooth interference.
