Abstract
The paper presents two procedures for the network function generation in matrix form. One of them is based on the state equations and the other, on the semi-state equations. Both techniques can generate network functions in symbolic or numeric-symbolic form. The lumped linear circuits under consideration have multiple inputs and multiple outputs (MIMO). These methods can handle the largest class of linear circuits. The network functions in matrix form are very useful in the reduced-order model generation. Two illustrative examples are presented.
